Red Swastika School submitted the most number of correct entries for the Schoolbeans National Online Quiz - Hari Raya Haji/Thaipusam Special Edition that ended on 27 Feburary 2004. The school has a colourful history and an impressive achievement record.

Red Swastika School was founded by the World Red Swastika Society in 1951.  The former village school was sited at Somapah Road, Changi.  It first started with 8 classes in a wooden building and a staff of 10 under the first Principal, Mr Chuang Shih Ie.  In 1979, the school was to be relocated to its present site at Bedok North Avenue 3 to make way for the development of Changi area.

The school has been able to work closely with the community to rally their support for its various programmes.  The Parent-Teacher Association was formed in 1997.  Ex-pupils had shown interest in helping the school in its further development and the Red Swastika School Alumni Association was formed in 1998.  The Red Swastika Student Centre, a project done in collaboration with the local community, was set up in the school’s vicinity in 1997.

In mid December 2001, the current Principal, Mr Ong Kian Hin took over the administration of the school.  The school is currently undergoing PRIME (Phase 3) which commenced in March 2002.  The whole project will be completed by June 2004.
